Marian's assignment results speak of great commitment and dedication. Two results worthy of mention is 80% achieved for English for academic purposes ENN103F test and two 100% results on her Social welfare law SCK1502/3 assignments.
In an email to the Foundation Marian expressed that she has completed two of her modules. It was stressful she says and very frustrating due to little space to study. Marian is very committed to her studies and she has been making it work under pressurised and inconvenient circumstances at times, with no personal computer of her own.
Considering Marian's circumstances and her performance thus far, Mrs Isaacs suggested the Vuya Foundation Board consider purchasing a laptop for her use. Mrs Isaacs also motivated to the Board that a cash gift be given to Marian as a way of saying congratulations!
As fate would have it, Vuya Foundation received an amazing call from a gentleman, Jonathan Gurwitz, who came to know about the Foundation through our first edition of our Vuya Conversations Newsletter! Jonathan indicated that he would like to donate a laptop to the Foundation and this gift was immediately earmarked for Marian!
